The YMCA Well Being Centre & Fitness Club is THE community fitness facility in the West Bromwich Area.

A 50-station fitness facility, large sports hall, superb dance studio and saunas in both changing rooms ensure that we can offer a very broad range of activities and programmes delivered by fully qualified instructors.

Not only do we offer individually tailored programmes and health assessments but also, a range of innovative programmes to support good health including -

• Light boxes to offset low light induced depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Available in the cafe throughout the morning and lunch time
• Tai Chi and Fitness Yoga sessions to develop strength, balance, posture, and calm.
• Highly innovative group-delivered training in professional deep relaxation & awareness enhancing techniques (mindfulness), and
• A course of aromatherapy therapeutic massage for individuals to reduce trait anxiety and improve awareness
• Three weekly EXTEND classes that promote physical training and education for persons over sixty and less able people of any age.
• The very attractive community café is part of Sandwell’s Healthy Living Network and provides breakfast and lunch-time snacks and meals  incorporating a ‘5-a-day’ message.
